Hand embroidery
Using high-quality cotton thread in a colour of your choice, we embroider your desired details with the utmost care and attention to detail. To create a raised and clearly visible profile, we use a loop stitch and base it on an elegant, flowing, soft cursive font.
First, we transfer the name onto a special embroidery stabiliser using a template. Then comes the intricate part: the hand embroidery. Each stitch is carefully placed, with the thread often re-threaded and knotted multiple times. Depending on the length of the name, this process takes approximately 3 to 6 hours.
Once the embroidery is complete, we carefully remove the stabiliser. Any remaining traces are gently dissolved with water if necessary. After drying, your blanket is lovingly packaged and sent on its way to you.
As personalised blankets are made to order, we unfortunately cannot accept returns.
Machine embroidery
Machine embroidery creates a beautiful, even and smooth lettering. Naturally, every embroidery also has a slightly 'uneven' reverse side. We can’t hide this on our blankets, but we do our best to make it almost as attractive as the front!
The lettering is placed in the lower right corner with sufficient distance from the edges.
You have the option to choose from several fonts.
We have selected a range of the most beautiful thread colours for you. If your desired colour is not listed, please let us know by email at hello@chalette.de.
We can embroider up to 12 or 16 characters in one line. If you would like more characters, or perhaps a date in addition to the name, we can embroider over two lines. In this case, the price increases from €9 to €18.
